India, a land blessed with saints and spiritual leaders, has long been a cradle of cultural, spiritual, and social richness. This heritage of wisdom and guidance has continually steered society on the right path. Continuing this noble tradition, Sri Nathpanthi International Spiritual Guide, Param Shraddheya Divyajnani Acharya Param Pujya Gurudev Sri Om Rameshwarji Maharaj, has dedicated his life to the mission of social enlightenment and emancipation.
In March 2022, during his visits to villages and temples in the Selu and Partur talukas, Pujya Gurudev, with his divine insight, recognized the plight of the impoverished and innocent people in the area. These people were being exploited by fraudulent soothsayers, or Bhondubabas, who preyed on their faith, robbing them financially and feeding superstition. Seeing the spiritual decline, Pujya Gurudev felt a deep calling to rescue these people from ignorance and guide them towards true spirituality.
Pujya Gurudev embarked on a mission to enlighten the people about the true essence of spirituality. Through his monthly visits, he organized three-day “Problem Guidance and Remedial” camps, where he educated people on the importance of Shree Shivbhakti and daily worship of deities. His teachings focused on imparting the wisdom of sacred texts such as Srimat Gurucharitra, Sri Haripath, Sri Dnyaneshwari, Sri Bhagavad Gita, and Sri Shiv Mahapuran. By spreading the pure knowledge contained in these holy books, Pujya Gurudev aimed to purify devotion from the shackles of superstition.
Beyond spiritual guidance, Pujya Gurudev offered practical support to the poor, providing Ayurvedic medical services, distributing educational materials to students, and offering financial assistance to those in need. Additionally, he made substantial contributions to religious places, further promoting spiritual growth within the community. Understanding the challenges faced by the new generation, Pujya Gurudev also focused on steering them away from addiction and towards a life of religious values and vegetarianism.
With the goal of nurturing a spiritually awakened society, Pujya Gurudev envisioned the creation of Sri Shivalaya, a sacred space dedicated to the divine. This vision took shape on 3rd July 2023, during the auspicious day of Gurupurnima, when the first phase of the Bhoomi Pujan and Bhoomi Purification Ceremony was performed in the presence of countless devotees. This marked the beginning of the construction of Om Chaitanya Parampujya Sri Rameshwaray Dham on 5 acres of land.
The establishment of Om Chaitanya Parampujya Sri Rameshwaray Dham symbolizes the creation of a spiritual sanctuary that will benefit society for generations to come.
